Burning Man 1995
Pyramid Lake - On our way to the burn we stopped at Pyramid Lake where we arrived just before dawn. As the sun rose, we saw these beautiful rock formations.
Pyramid Lake - The surrounding rocks were home to this sheep.
Pyramid Lake - After winding our way through the low brush, we found a small chain of beautiful hot springs flowing into the lake.
Eeyore - Our transportation to the playa, a 1971 VW bus named Eeyore. Slow, but eminently loveable, Eeyore's engine never fully recovered from the trip.
On the Playa - There was no one in sight. We had to drive about 10 miles out into the playa, following a distance cloud of dust, to find the city.
The City - About 5,000 people attended Burning Man in 1995. There were no roads and just about no organization of the city, aside from the central placement of the man.
The City - People were spread out at a comfortable distance.

Playa Croquet - A lovely game of playa croquet awaited us...with a front row view of the man.
Playa Croquet
Fire Lingam - created by Pepe. Playa mud over a wire structure formed a chimney which was lit on fire.
