INTENTIONAL COMMUNITIES
An Intentional Community is a group of people living together cooperatively and committed to an agreed upon set of values, goals, and/or rules. Within this very general definition, the variations are nearly infinite. Some are political or religious, many are not...some are focused on a particular age group or gender, while others focus on creating diversity. An Intentional Community may take the form of a monestary, kubbutzim, commune, co-housing, ecovillage, or simply a group of friends choosing to live together.
