The first experience I had with 4-Aco-DMT Fumarate was approximately 2 years prior to this experience. My first experience with this substance was when I consumed about 100 mg over the course of 24 hours. I basically tripped twice, with an initial dose of approximately 60 mg intranasal. This was an extremely high dose for my first time, I ended up passing out, then awoke about 2 hours later with an intense buzz. It was very visual. Almost as visual as LSD, but very different. It felt a bit overwhelming, but not at all unpleasant. The next day the rest of the 40 mg was consumed intranasal and this time it was milder but still very pleasant. These experiences produced some of the most satisfying visuals I have ever had with a psychedelic.

Fast forward to over two years later. I just received a new 500 mg batch of the same substance, 4-Aco-DMT Fumarate. It was from a different vendor, but a very reliable and trusted one. I have always been a fan of psychedelics and empathogens, which I would consider my favorite classes of drugs. However, I recently have had a lot of difficulty with these types of substances, especially psychedelics, and at times even MDMA. The main problems being paranoia, delusional thoughts, and other unpleasant feelings. I was hoping to have another great experience from 4-Aco-DMT, like the trips I mentioned previously.

The first day that I received my 500 mg batch of 4-Aco I consumed approximately 100 mg intranasal over the course of 4 or 5 hours. The effects did not peak all at once, but instead took about 2 hours to really peak. At this point I was in a bad mental state, which I would consider a fairly bad trip, but not a disaster. I felt very fatigued during this trip and was wondering if what I had been sold was actually 4-Aco-DMT. The visuals were quite different. They were somewhat like shrooms but definitely not the same, nor were the same as the visuals I had previously experienced from this substance. At times I felt like I was in hell or at least was about to be sent to hell. I also felt that I was on the verge of being captured and sent to a prison for all eternity. I felt as if the world was about to end and that I had sold my soul away to the devil. I did not want to use the substance again after this and thought I had thrown it away.

Approximately 5 days later, to my surprise, I found the bag, about 400 mg left. I was pretty excited because I had spent a good amount of money on it and thought it had all gone to waste. I was willing to give it one more try, this time hoping for a better trip. Over the course of the next 48 hours I would consume around 30-40 mg intranasal at a time, spacing my doses out at about 4 or 5 hours throughout the day, then stopping in the evening so I could then sleep. Basically I tripped for 2 straight days on this substance. These trips felt nothing like any of the trips I had previously experienced from this substance. There was a bit of paranoia during this trips, but nothing that made me uncomfortable or fearful.

I would take a small dose before work (at a fast food restaurant). Then after my shift was over I would indulge in higher doses. I actually found it much easier to work under the influence of 4-Aco-DMT because I felt energized, in a good mood, and focused. It felt pretty euphoric. I remember walking over to the bus stop through a path in the woods after work the first day and noticing how beautiful nature looked. It filled me with a sense of joy and awe.

The second day I again dosed about 30-40 mg before heading off to work. I finished earlier than I normally would have. My boss even said I had done a very good job that day and gave me a free sandwich, which not something that he would normally do. While on the job I was tempted to consume the rest of the bag but decided that the trip would be better spent if I saved it for after work. So that is what I did. Immediately after my shift ended I headed to the bathroom and consumed the rest intranasal again, which I have found to be the best method of administration. This time I took extra effort to chop the powder up as finely as I could. 4-Aco-DMT Fumarate is very snort-able and easy on the nose by the way. I probably did around 100+ mg this time.

It really started to hit me within an hour or so. This time the euphoria was through the roof. I was full of what seemed like endless energy. There were very little visuals but everything seemed much brighter and more colorful. It was as if I had entered paradise. It almost seemed to be like what I had always thought ecstasy would feel like before I tried it. I felt strong feelings of love and empathy. I also felt very clear-headed. At times I felt a bit of paranoia but it never lead to bad thoughts. I started to hear noises and sirens in my head for a while but it soon went away. There were occasional thoughts that I had been poisoned or that bad things were going to happen but they soon went away. It was difficult to feel any anxiety from these thoughts because of the overwhelming euphoria I was experiencing. At this point it felt like an empathogen/entactogen. I even had the thought that maybe the bag had been switched somehow with MDMA, as absurd as that sounds. The body buzz was not as great as MDMA, but the mental euphoria I would say was on par with my first ever pure MDMA roll, which was the most euphoric experience of my life. This most recent experience with 4-Aco-DMT I would say was equal in mental euphoria to that of my first roll. I felt that I was literally in heaven.

Now I know that many would say that 4-Aco-DMT is not all that euphoric or that it does not produce empathogen/entactogen like effects. I would have agreed with this until this most recent experience. This just goes to show the dynamic and complex nature of the psychedelic experience. As Humphry Osmond put it: 'To fathom Hell or soar angelic, Just take a pinch of psychedelic.'

Although at times I have had difficult experiences with psychedelics, trips like the one I just described is what makes psychedelics my favorite type of mind altering substances. I will definitely want to trip on 4-Aco-DMT in the future and I am also looking forward to trying 5-Meo-Mipt for the first time as well. However, as a precaution I intend to acquire some Etizolam (which I have previous experience with) as a tool for relieving anxiety and fear if I happen to feel that I am starting to have a bad trip.

Even though at times I had difficult experiencing with this substance, it has also produced the best psychedelic experience I have ever had.
