Ever since I broke the nail on my finger and was prescribed codeine, I began experimenting. Luckily, there happens to be a virtually infinite supply in my place of residence (for someone else at this point) which allows me to enjoy it on occasion. I have nothing negative to say about the drug except of course for the usual side effects (specifically for me, constipation and occasional nausea). Probably due to my body weight, it doesn't take much for me to have a pretty good time with it. Someone else mentioned synergistic effects with weed and I have to agree, if I take codeine I immediately roll up a fattie because the combination is enough to keep me happy for at least 4-5 hours. My only concern (of course) is addiction and possible withdrawal if my source is ever taken away (which it inevitably will be). I've experienced withdrawal from clonazepam and that was hell, so I'm probably in over my head. :)

Apart from any future hell I may go through though, (and why think about tomorrow? That would be rational), this drug is one of the most enjoyable I have found. I've done acid, mushrooms, PCP (unfortunately), DXM, weed (of course) and the usual suspects that follow. Of course, in my experience there's no danger of a 'bad trip' with codeine in the same sense that there is with psychedelics yet the euphoria is certainly comparable to even moderate-to-high level acid doses. In fact, I've been using codeine to 'distract' my brain from the desire to keep doing acid. Anyway, I've had some very nice experiences and I hope this info helps someone out there!
