Experience takes place at a close friend’s house, very comfortable setting with three friends. I should note that my associate is quite a bit smaller than me, weighing in at about 140lbs, it might explain his stronger physical reactions.

3:54 - T+00.00: Dose 10mg insufflated

It first cuts up the sinuses, then burns them for good measure. My associate notes: “It stings”. Thirty seconds later the pain vanishes. The reports of local anesthetic properties seem to be true. My sinuses have opened. No effects yet.

4:00 – T+00.06

Mild elevation of heart rate, mild stimulation effects. Not as strong as classic D/L-amphetamine. Heart rate at approx. 84bpm similar to a cup of coffee. Certainly more alert.

4:10 – T+00:16

My associate has begun pacing. We agree that it is similar in effect to cocaine, however no ego boost has been noted. I feel a slight body euphoria in my muscles. My associate notes that his hunger has vanished. He tells me: “I feel like I have just done a fuckoff line of coke.” His heartrate reads at 114. Mine is stable at 84. No teeth clenching.

4:23 – T+00:29

Had a shower, had very little patience for soap and water. Slight anxiety combined with a mild euphoria. It’s similarity to cocaine makes me fear a comedown, there is a slight compulsion to redose.

4:38 – T+00:44

My associate suggests we do the other 10mg sitting on the table. I am inclined to agree but hesitant that it will double the anxiety effect.

5:37 – T+01:43

Stimulation going strong, euphoric effects have faded into the background. Colours are more vivid, perhaps from pupil dilation? I feel hungry, yet everything in the kitchen appears unappetizing . Fruit, which is normally something I can eat on any substance is unappealing. The appetite suppressant effects are stronger than D/L Amphetamine. I push myself to eat some cheese and toast. Flavour is full, my stomach is satisfied. Conversation is more involving, myself and my associates have a long conversation about political systems and the future of technology. Not uncommon among my group, but there is certainly an air of focus about the topic. I am noticing some trouble with memory recall, but I am not sure if this is an effect of the compound or if I am just more aware of my terrible memory because of it.

5:43 – T+01:49: Dose + 10mg insufflated

6:06 – T+02:12
Unlike other stimulants, time appears to be moving faster rather than slower. Sort of odd.

6:52 – T+02:58

Most of the effects have worn off. The comedown I had feared seems non-existant. I am still very awake, but the energy and euphoria has vanished.

I am considering another dose.

7:15 – T+02:23 Dose + 10 mg Insufflated

It is time for the night to go elsewhere, we leave the comfort to bear the cold. It’s quite refreshing outside, I feel hot. Walking is brisk, and I find myself slightly irritated that my companion walks slowly.

8:00 – T+03:08

We arrive at our destination to a group of 8-10 people. I find the noise level to be slightly irritating. This is not unusual in my experience with stimulants. We play an RTS game, the focus certainly helps here.

11:00 – T+06:08 Dose, 20 mg insufflated

I start to feel tired, as the pentadrone retreats it leaves behind heavy eyelids. I decide it’s time for one final dose. It’s come on stronger. Tolerance does not seem to build quickly.

Afterthoughts:

I finally did get to sleep at around 3:00am. Once this drug wears off I feel fairly fatigued. Even into the next day, waking up the next day was very difficult, it took a 200+mg of caffeine (via energy drink) to fight off the sleepiness. Pentedrone may have interfered with the quality of sleep.

All things considered it seems to me like a longer lasting less euphoric cocaine, but without the egomania and less of a “why the fuck did I do this” comedown that cocaine seems to have. I have heard reports of manic episodes resulting after binge use, this does not surprise me. I felt jumpy throughout the experience and it has a definite desire to redose, I could see myself going for 24+ on it. It is probably highly addictive. I am curious as to how much it takes to kill rats. Though the substance will probably be banned before anyone can do legitimate research on it.

Oh well.
