Around one-two years later during my first year at university I began to experiment with psychedelics; at that point I had used LSD, psilocybin mushrooms and and had tried several synthetic psychedelics. During this period I became even more interested in the prospect of getting my hands on some DMT. I told all of my friends I trip with about DMT and they were all also all interested in trying it too.
I eventually decided I would purchase some DMT from the Dark-net marketplace ‘Silk road’. After doing some research into the different methods in which DMT could be ingested I decided I would purchase some Changa. This is because Changa doesn't require vaporization and I could smoke it through my bong. I bought around 500mg of Changa so I would have enough for several doses.
After about a week the Changa arrived in the mail and as I lived in a residential hall I eagerly informed my best friend (who also lived in the hall) that the DMT had arrived. We decided we would smoke it his room.
The method that I had been advised to use for smoking Changa was to pack three large bongs and hold the smoke in for 15 seconds. I went first, I smoked the first bong and held it in the 15 seconds while I packed the second bong. The smoke had a strong unpleasant taste which stank out my bong for weeks. I exhaled and immediately smoked the second bong. As I held the smoke in my lungs and packed the final hit I began to feel rather light headed and packing the bong became quite difficult. I smoked the final bong and the exhalation sound seemed to ring, this ringing sound gradually became louder and louder. I then told my friend that ‘it worked’ and he began to pack and smoke the Changa.
The room began to melt away. It melted not into a liquid but into surreal, brightly coloured shapes that began to encompass my entire vision. The colours were unlike anything I would see in the sober world. These shapes were not random, I knew the way they moved and morphed with objects had to have been done for a reason. I looked at my friend who had become indistinguishable and his face appeared entirely black and these black faces multiplied and appeared everywhere in my vision. The faces were familiar and I had an incredible sense of Deja vu. Eventually these hallucinations and pseudo hallucinations entirely took over my vision and focus until I was unable to focus on anything else. I was completely mesmerized by the colours and patterns.
The faces were observing me and they could sense all of my thoughts, my worries, my emotions and knew me in my entirety. They told me they loved me and I should not worry as they will always be there for me. I closed my eyes and lay on the bed and I was in another realm. In this realm I spiraled around a multidimensional object which changed shape and morphed rapidly into beautiful complex fractals. More of these beings were there and they were all happy to see me, they held back from doing anything initially until they sensed I was ready for what they wanted to show me. The beings materialized themselves so I could comprehend their presence and shape and they showed me objects and forms of matter that are beyond what language can describe and could not exist in our universe.
I was so engrossed in the experience that I cannot remember most of what was happening and I occasionally remember sequences from my DMT experiences several hours or even days later in a similar way to dreams.
I have used DMT a further two times since this first experience and I hope to use it again as I believe it still has so much to teach me. I plan on extracting my own in the near future.
DMT is not a recreational drug, it is a spiritual tool that opens my mind up to other realms and higher consciousnesses. DMT taught me not to fear the unknown but to embrace it and I no longer fear death as I know time is meaningless as a moment can last a life time.
