My previous experience with vaporizing a low dose of DMT was interesting, but the primary effects only lasted several minutes, and all residual effects were gone in a relatively short amount of time (less than a half hour). I was hoping that the CBD would reduce my anxiety of using DMT, and help me work up to attempting higher doses.
I decided to attempt this experiment while walking my dogs along a private wooded path. Once deep along the trail, I stopped to vape my mixture using a wooden vaporgenie pipe with an ordinary lighter.
After a few lungfuls I began to feel familiar DMT effects (CBD on its own is not supposed to produce perceivable psychoactive effects). I had some very mild visuals, and felt a little bit 'high', riding the line between + and ++ on the Shulgin scale. It was my intention to vape until I reached a comfortable highness, but I think I either stopped short, or did not use enough DMT in the mix.
The visuals consisted primarily of an increase and contrast and colour. Things were more vivid. I could very clearly see the different sections of gold and white fur on my golden retriever. The stick I was throwing for her was almost faceted with different shades of brown. Everything still looked very organic. Nothing really appear out of the ordinary -- just more vidid.
Now the curious part of this experience, which inspired me to submit this report, is that the effects progressed into a state where I felt a similar high to a high-THC cannabis high, despite the fact that the cannabis I used contains less than 0.5% THC, and previous experiments with this plant material itself produced no perceivable effects. For the next two hours I felt fairly stoned, and I still feel a little stoned over three hours later. It was as if the CBD and the DMT triggered the production of endogenous THC.
[Reported Dose: '15 mg DMT, 140 mg CBD' from 9% CBD strain]
