Unlocking The Methoxphenidine Experience

I want to start this experience report with a warning, by stating that on a different occasion to this one I had previously taken a similar dose of MXP after having around 5 pints of ale and a vodka and cola, and had a horrible experience. I experienced lots of adverse effects, anxiety, panic, derealisation, a really hot chest and constant uncomfortable vibrating sensation throughout my body and a weird afterglow sickness for a day or two after. This ALMOST put me off trying this dissociative ever again, regardless of the fact I had previously tried it on another occasion two nights in a row and was very pleased with the substance. I had an unpleasant experience mixing it with alcohol in quantities larger than a couple of beers. It ruins the MXP high and tarnishes its reputation and potential as an alternative to the more popular dissociatives in my opinion.

I am a male who has just turned 20 during the present time that I am writing this experience report and I weigh approx 210lb. I have experience with Alcohol, Cannabis, Cocaine, MDMA in crystal form and in Ecstacy pills, LSD, Mephedrone, 25i, Ketamine, Nitrous Oxide, Codeine, DXM, BK-2cb, Salvia, Kratom, Speed, Benzos and a few other research chemicals etc.

I was sitting in my bed at around 9:30pm and took 1mg of Diclazepam as I felt I would need to suppress any anxieties of my previous experience with MXP in order to enjoy it again. 15 minutes later I weighed out 50mg of MXP and split it into 3 small lines and then insufflated them whilst listening to some music. I love metal, so at this point time I was listening to some progressive/experimental kinda stuff to go with the weird dissociative experience (just my personal preference). Then I rolled a cigarette feeling a little zoned out but on alert like I'd had a strong coffee and I somewhat enjoyed smoking the cig. Almost immediately after I decided to roll a small cannabis joint laced with about 20mg of powdered MXP as I was interested to see if this would be a successful way of administration. The joint laced with MXP didn't taste that bad and it did in fact take effect, I didn't just feel stoned, I felt floaty and was on the come up.

Anyway, I forgot about that (successful) experiment and about an hour later, so let's say 10:45pm, I weighed up a further 80mg of MXP and split it into 3 lines roughly 26mg each, snorting them as I felt necessary watching How I Met Your Mother. At this point I was experiencing euphoria and mild dissociation whilst really admiring the jokes in this particular TV show and getting maximum enjoyment from viewing it. At this stage I was really quite relaxed and very pleased that I was enjoying the high and content that not drinking alcohol this time around had proven my personal theory that alcohol and MXP weren't a good idea to mix. I felt inclined to smoke a joint, this is because when I had previously enjoyed MXP, smoking weed was a delight. I was surprised by this because my friends all suggested that Ketamine and Weed would make me feel dizzy and 'wonky', suggesting to me that dissociatives and weed was not a good mix. They were wrong. Having a tolerance to cannabis prevents this 'wonky' Ketamine effect and abstaining from drinking alcohol is also a factor to consider.

Back on track, at 12am I had smoked the joint, it was sweet and weighed a further 30mg of MXP feeling confident that I would conclude the night and embrace the effects, making a total of 180mg throughout the night. From 12pm until about 3am it consistently peaked with clear-headed thought processing, dissociation, numbness, warmth and euphoria. Effects are fading now (4am) and I feel anxiety-free, slightly numb and my head is very gently buzzing which is not uncomfortable. During this experience I took frequent toilet breaks to urinate and drank a lot of water.

This felt completely necessary for some reason, no different from when I've taken MDMA. There were psychedelic elements to the experience and I feel a bit of that post-LSD trip vibe quite subtly but mainly just sobering up now.

To conclude this experience report, I'm looking forward to the nice afterglow tomorrow when I wake up, which I had previously experienced with MXP. I think this was a seriously awesome experience and I would rate MXP highly and will use again, also I would like to reiterate that smoking weed enhanced the high as opposed to alcohol which gave me a horrid sensation and a hangover the following day. MXP is mildly euphoric, dissociative, somewhat psychedelic in higher doses or when mixed with cannabis and is a relaxant as opposed to its cousin Ketamine which people party with. I ate a large meal before this experience so that would have deterred the onset of the MXP, something to consider, but I believe this is more safe and eating whilst high is enjoyable too. Thanks for reading!
