It is obvious that the drug has altered my hypothalamus, and killed my appetite entirely. I now no longer know when I am hungry, until I have a headache. On the other hand, I am very aware when I am truly full, which was my problem before the drug. While I have to say that the differences between when I'm on it and when I'm off it aren't that vast as far as wakefulness (which is what it was designed for) the side effects are, in my case, fairly positive. The itching is annoying. The dry eyes are as well, but I normally always have a runny nose and that is cleared on the drug. It's the brain changes that worry me, tho- if it's killed the appetite, what else has happened?
