DOSE:
T+ 0:00
1 mg sublingual Etizolam (pill / tablet)
  T+ 0:45 1 mg oral Etizolam (pill / tablet)
  T+ 0:50 1 bowl smoked Cannabis
BODY WEIGHT: 155 lb
Sidenotes: I am an experienced user of many drugs, benzodiazepines included. I have not had any benzos for nearly 6 months prior to this experience, and I'm writing this experience from the point-of-view of someone who has mild-to-moderate general anxiety.

11:50 AM: I place a single pink 1mg Etizest brand etizolam pill under my tongue for a couple of minutes, then I swallow it. It doesn't taste bad at all.

12:15 PM (T + :25): Already feeling the familiar effects of benzodiazepines... anxiety melting away, calmness creeping over me, muscles becoming less tense. I'm usually a somewhat anxious person and the things I tend to notice about my anxiety (not feeling comfortable around people, sweating & nervousness in public) have definitely begun to dissipate.

12:35 PM (T + :45): Haven't noticed much difference from earlier. Normally, I only use benzodiazepines in quite small amounts (1mg alprazolam or 10mg diazepam) to help with moderate anxiety, but I want to see what a slightly more recreational dose of this chemical feels like. I take another 1mg pill orally.

12:40 PM (T + :50): I eat a nice, filling meal after smoking a bowl of high grade marijuana.

1:00 PM (T + 1:10): I notice a definite sharp drop in anxiety. When holding my fingers out they are extremely still, which more often than not doesn't happen with me. I don't feel sedated, but my muscles do feel very relaxed, almost as if I took a muscle relaxer such as carisoprodol. I am definitely relaxed.

1:35 PM (T + 1:45): I decide I'm pretty much at the peak of my experience and am already experiencing or have experienced all the effects I'm going to at this level of dosing. Those effects were: very mild sedation, mild euphoria, muscle relaxation, sense of calm & well-being, and reduction of anxiety. I will continue to update and describe the length of plateau and subsequent comedown.

2:05PM (T + 2:15): All effects are still present and just as strong as they were 30 minutes ago. Still on the plateau, I believe. Benzodiazepines, and downers in general, always made me want do things around the house, and since taking my first Etizest pill I've already done two loads of laundry, done the dishes, showered, etc., etc...

4:00PM (T + 4:10): Effects seem to be dissipating slightly. Still feel very at ease and have no anxiety whatsoever. Drinking a coffee to return to baseline.

4:30PM (T + 4:40): Pretty much baseline in terms of physical effects. I still don't have any anxiety, but my muscle relaxation and lack of inhibition has faded away. I feel as if I'm experiencing an anxiety-free 'afterglow'.

This chemical is most definitely a fantastic anxiolytic, possibly even better than alprazolam. Right now I feel almost as if I'm on ~5mg of diazepam, very content and at ease.

4:50 PM (T + 5:00): Except for my slight afterglow of reduced anxiety and calm, all noticeable effects have worn off. I'm now at baseline and have no urge to re-dose, even though the experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

I could picture myself using this substance, at this dose, before a dental procedure or flight I was anxious about, as it is a fantastic anxiolytic. I could definitely go about my daily routine on this dose, although I would most likely prefer only taking 1mg, as 2mg is a bit too much for my level of general anxiety on most days. I could most definitely see myself using this chemical again, especially since it came from a reliable source. This is definitely a wonderful chemical for anxiety.
