Than when I was 22 or 23 I was drunk and a ‘friend’ gave me a line of ECP (East Coast Powder) heroin. It was all downhill from there. Told myself I would only snort the heroin... I broke that rule within a week and started having people shoot me up. Once I taught myself how to IV it was game over.

That was about a year ago. I recently relapsed on opiates after visiting the ER for my colitis and they gave me a morphine drip which brought back all those memories… I had a follow up appointment with my family doctor who prescribed me Tramadol, I didn’t abuse it, I took it as prescribed until I had another follow up and he gave me a refill, which I started taking 3 here… 4 there… until the next day at work I had my old dealer meet me in the parking lot during my shift and got a bag of good ole ECP again. I told my self just snorting this time. I never listen… started IVing again after 4 or 5 days, but this time I found a new “connect” who could get Opana pain killers which did just what the Heroin did, but would give me a bigger rush when I IV’d, and would last half the day and was a little cheaper with my connect… I'm rambling now.
So after some job issues because of my addiction I checked back into [same treatment center as before] in Nebraska really serious this time, and this time my insurance actually covers the Suboxone! Which without it I would constantly be thinking about shooting up or trying to get my fix.
