Suboxone Hell

I was in treatment for Anorexia Nervosa January-April 2016. I was at a Residential facility for a little over 2 months before moving into an apartment to continue with partial hospitalization treatment. In partial I met a friend who was a recovering alcoholic around my age (20). Her and I where friends with another patient who was still attending residential. We decided to plan a trip to Chicago, it seemed like a good idea although it was highly against the rules. So we picked a day and we went.

On our way there my friend had mentioned she had suboxone, I had often used opiates and liked them very much so I thought why not try it. She had the higher dose of 8mg so I put the film in my mouth and let it dissolve. The feeling of the drug came on rather rapid, I'd say about 20 minutes and I was feeling the starting effects. About an hour later an I was on a good opiate high, I could feel the happiness and just felt really good. The feeling felt as though it kept rising or as if I was getting 'higher'. We decided to leave as our friend was already late and had to get back. On the way back I was driving us through Chicago and I asked for a piece of gum. She had thought I said 'oh you want another one...' She opened a second suboxone film and placed it in my hand I had thought it was gum due to being high until I tasted the orange pledge flavor in my mouth.

[Erowid Note: Driving while intoxicated, tripping, or extremely sleep deprived is dangerous and irresponsible because it endangers other people. Don't do it!]
About 10 minutes later I had an extreme opiate high. It was difficult to keep my eyes open and my vision was all over the place. I told her she needed to drive and she niceley said okay. We got back to the treatment center and I was at this point vomiting and now feeling very sick. My car was there and I said I could drive. I got in my car and was puking in a cup that was in it while driving. I remember looking up and seeing trees and then feeling the car crash. I had totaled my new car. A police officer was called and I told him a deer had ran in front of my car. He believed me at first until the tow company came and I got out of my friends car and could hardly walk. I told the officer it was nerves but he made me do a field sobriety test which I failed miserably at and needless to say I was issued a DUI. Suboxone is hell!
