DOSE:
T+ 0:00
3 mg oral Bromazepam (pill / tablet)
  T+ 0:30 6 mg oral Bromazepam (pill / tablet)
BODY WEIGHT: 55 kg
This was the first I tried any benzo. I was not taking any medications at the time of the experience. It was Friday night, I was bored and had some 6mg bromazepam pills lying around. I took half a pill and half an hour later a full pill. I might have taken another half, but I can't remember now.

About the time I took the second dose, I started feeling the effects. I was walking through a hall and I felt like drunk, but without the euphoria that alcohol provides. I felt like floating as I walked and my movements had that looseness typical of alcohol.

Though not unpleasurable, it felt kind of 'tasteless', as the feeling of happiness and euphoria that comes with alcohol were absent but the felling of relaxation was present. Overall, I felt very calm and sedated. I felt my mind worked slower and kind of 'stupidized'.
I felt my mind worked slower and kind of 'stupidized'.

I went to sleep. I slept quite well and the next morning I woke up still feeling stupid. I rode my bike to a friend's house and in the way I almost fell two times. I could still feel my mind worked slower. Over the course of the day the effects gradually wore off.

After that I continued to consume bromazepam occasionally, almost always at night. Some weeks I took it everyday. I'd put 3 to 6 mg under my tongue, which made the effects kick in faster, in about 15 minutes. A few times I went up to 12mg.

Over time, the motor effects became less noticeable. However, I started noticing that it reduced my mental abilities, especially memory: I forgot things and lost objects.

Suddenly I came to the realization that this thing was turning me stupid and stopped taking it completely. At the same time, I stopped drinking any alcohol. It was not a willful choice, I just felt I didn't enjoy it, it just didn't feel like before. After more than a year I could drink again.
