The first time I ever tried this, I was at one of those detox places that are completely voluntary and they try and make detoxing from heavy drugs and alcohol easier by offering comfortable recliners, showers, full cable tv and if medically necessary, sometimes the use of a benzodiazepine such as valium, in a relatively small dose. It was about 6pm when I checked in and by about 11pm the yawns had turned into full blown sniffles and were proceeding to lead to the tremors and shakes. This was unnafected by the 5mg valium I had been given and had crushed and snorted in the bathroom.
I knew at this point, one thing was for sure. I had to get out of this small area and one step closer to getting rid of the almost full blown PAWS symptoms I was having.
I had to get out of this small area and one step closer to getting rid of the almost full blown PAWS symptoms I was having.
Unfortunately for me, I had not paid attention to the exact location in which I had been escorted earlier, which resulted in me having to call the cops on myself and explain my situation to them just to get back to point B where I had to then go thru the whole process of waiting, filling out all the paperwork again, and by the time I was warm again in the room with the recliners, I was so exhausted, I fell asleep on the floor in a room with a fully made bed just a couple feet above me. If I had only known that when I woke up that morning, I was about to be the highest I had ever been on opiates, I might not have checked out again and "ran" home.
I really didnt notice any sort of a high until I had finally gotten a ride thru my insurance to go home. I felt defeated and weak and I was once again cold and sitting on the curb waiting for a ride when "IT" hit me. It was like the warmth from morphine but the anticipated stomach tinges from dilaudid. It even took me a minute to realize where and what this was coming from. I remembered the handfulls of tiny green pills I had swallowed the night before. Once I got home I was experiencing what I felt to be better then the best opiate high I had experienced since I had been on methadone. I remember nothing other then a little light headedness and bad dry mouth as any side effects. I knew I still had some pills left, but amazingly this feeling lasted somewhere near 2-3 days. I remember not wanting to take them again until the third day.
So this is my experience with loperamide. But let me warn you, this stuff is far from non-addicting and I do not recommend anyone do what I did. I now have an addiction on my hands that I don't see an end in sight to and since then I have experienced severe side effects such as total muscle loss at times, severe dehydration, and troubles with my eyes. Please dont do this in the amounts mentioned. Even now, it takes me way less because I do it to keep away withdrawals, not to get high.
