I was prescribed Clonazepam (Klonopin/Rivotril) for panic attacks a while ago. The pills I got from my prescription are 0,25mg, those I'm supposed to put under my tongue until it dissolves. I had taken them a few times already but it never seemed to work, there were no effects, physical or otherwise, not even sleepiness. So today, since I ran out of pot and wanted to get wasted I decided to go for a bigger dose (note that I had already taken 0,75 mg a few days ago, which also had 0 effects, and that I understand the risks of abusing benzos). My goal was to get to 3,0 mg total.

I should preface this by saying that I'm going through a very rough phase, been depressed and isolated from my friends for months, but with the help of other meds (antidepressants mainly), I seem to be getting back on track. I didn't have much of a choice as to the setting of this experience since I'm staying at some relative's home in a town where I don't know anyone, but I don't believe that is gonna have any negative impact since I always preferred to trip alone.

I started by taking 2 (two) 0,25 mg pills each time, letting it dissolve properly until hitting 2,5 mg total, or 10 pills.

Half an hour later I was still pretty sober, not even tired, dizzy, or with slurred speech. No effects whatsoever.

T.: 01:20
I decided to keep upping the dose to see how high my tolerance can go. A few minutes ago I took 1 additional mg. So, the total dose at this point is 3,5 mg, and believe it or not I'm not even feeling the need to sleep. Decided to wait 20 min, if it still doesn't hit I'll take 0,5 mg more, and 20 min after that 0,5 more.

Took another 0,5 mg. Starting to feel somewhat lightheaded, but it's very subtle, I could just as well leave the house and do the groceries with no problem. Total dose until now: 4,0 mg

Ok, so balance is definitely the first thing to go. Went to the kitchen to get some food, almost demolished everything, but nothing serious. Starting to feel a little confused, but honestly not even close to how I can get just smoking weed. It's interesting though that I didn't mention anxiety once, and that's because it's still here. Opposite to everything I read about other experiences with klonopin, I'm still pretty much the same ball of self-hatred and anxiety.

Starting to kick in apparently, but it's not this overwhelming high, it's more like drinking a couple of beers minus the euphoria. The main effects right now are physical, my body feels slightly out of control, balance is almost totally gone, as well as my coordination, just spilled fuckin cheese everywhere. As for a "mental" high (or whatever you wanna call it) seems absent for me, although I know that benzos can have this illusion of sobriety, don't think that to be the case here, but who knows right?
Decided to take another 0,5 mg. Total dose at this point: 4,5 mg

After all this, I got tired and decided to go to sleep, not because of the medication though, just out of boredom. In conclusion, the only "high" I had was some dizziness and lack of coordination (which last no longer than 30 minutes) as well as blurred vision. As for my memory I didn't have any sort of amnesia, I even remember exactly which episodes of The Office I choose at random to rewatch.
