I finally decided to try the Oxycodone I had hidden away from my foot surgery 6 months ago. This is my first experience with Oxy other than 1 time after my surgery trying to take some for pain relief. Didn't work then but I only had 5 mg. Previous "drug" experience: Alcohol a few times, sometimes too much, and 1 90mg weed edible, which I threw up.

Sunday at 3pm I got a text from my coworkers saying we have the day off tomorrow since we can't work in the snow. GREAT! Time to finally try the Oxy!

3:20: I take all 15 mg, head over to the couch, put a blanket on, and turn on the TV to watch a childhood cartoon movie.

4:00: I'm starting to feel a bit tired, slightly difficult to keep eyes open. That is all.

4:30: Still nothing else, just tired...

5:00 STILL nothing else, the movie ends and I decide to just listen to music while closing my eyes under the covers. Nothing changes.

5:30: Thinking to myself that I definitely didn't take enough, although I had read 15mg for a first timer could put you on your ass.

So I realized this wasn't really gonna affect me, I had a few cold shivers and light spasms but other than that, just tiredness. Absolutely no euphoria. I didn't eat dinner that night because I wasn't hungry and was just exhausted, could barely keep my eyes open, and was starting to get kind of sick whenever I walked around. I went to bed around 10 pm just feeling crappy when I got a text saying we were actually working tomorrow, and see you at 7. UH OH. Here's where things get interesting.

Next day: I wake up at 6, feeling very nauseous. I eat some cereal feeling bad, my stomach hurts. Driving to work, I feel horrible, realizing I am going to throw up on the highway. I ended up throwing up six times on the way to the site. Ugh. I'd throw up, feel better, then get worse again and repeat. All in bumper to bumper traffic. I didn't throw up anymore after that, but had horrible stomach pain/cramps for 4 days after that, either due to extreme constipation, or still from the pills.

All in all, it was a horrible experience, nothing good came of it. It was such a stupid thing to do in hindsight. But I was so curious about it reading forums I needed to try it, or I would just keep thinking about it all my life, wondering what it actually felt like. At least now I know, oxy doesn't work on me!
