Online Oral Ketamine Therapy Trip #1

Background: retired medical professional. Have used ketamine licitly (insufflated) as well as a bevy of other substances including LSD, Mushrooms, DXM, AMT, MDMA, etc...

So this was not a completely naive experience, just never tried it as oral.

My online clinician started me at 300MG P.O. So morning of the experience I skipped coffee, ate a huge dose of oral cannabis [''200mg THC edible''] and waited 4 hours to start the ketamine.

Initial impression is that ketamine tastes terrible. I held it in my cheek, swallowing the saliva as my clinician directed.

A warm tingle crept over my body so I put my earbuds in, put my CPAP mask on and pulled the covers up over my head.

The rest sounds nuts so take it with a grain of salt. Intense waves of energy in synch with the music passed through my body until I disintegrated into the lump of molecules I am. I then began to vibrate in with the sea of molecules our universe is.

At some point I began to fly through a universe of stars that formed geometric patterns  and hyperbolic curved shapes.

At about an hour into the trip my phone fell off the bed and the music stopped so I carefully slid to the floor, retrieved it then resumed residence in my cocoon of psychedelic safety.

Spent most of the time with eyes closed and it was aw=mazebals. Lasted just shy of 2 hours.

Anxiety and depression def much less than prior. It's a little bit of a scary experience even though I have experienced large doses LSD and heroic doses of shrooms but damn it was one wild flippin ride!!!!

Music is a must! No lyrics, trippy ambient stuff with binaural beats are the A ticket ride. I fasted at least 6 hours prior, no coffee 24 hours before, no benzodiazapines 24h before and zofran taken right before the Ketamine.

I lay down for the entire trip.
