So the girlfriend is gone for a full day/night and I decided to make the best of it. This worked out surprisingly well. I wake up around 7:30am and decided to start early. I've been taking gabapentin at very low dosage for more than 2 years. 200mg in morning, 200mg at night. Can't even tell if it's done much help with anxiety/depression but it's not hurting anything so I've just stayed on that dosage.

I recently heard that taking a lot of gabapentin can give you some euphoria so what the heck, I'll give it a shot today. I take 700mg gabapentin, eat one 5mg edible. Went to the grocery store and decided to pick up a pint of vodka while I was there just in case the other meds weren't getting me as high as I wanted to be today. I drank the vodka over a long course of time, 7 hours.

I started feeling great by 10am and I'm sure it was the 700mg of gabapentin. Then of course my brain is really cooking so I look up more about gabapentin and reading some of the experiences online at a harm reduction website. So I take 1200mg more of gabapentin at about 3pm. I figure that it may take awhile for the gabapentin to start kicking in and end up cleaning the entire townhouse. I mean cleaning...every room, cabinet, dresser, all floors, frig/freezer...all completely clean and organized. Now it is 6pm and I want to do more stuff (knowing I shouldn't drive). So I catch myself and figure I'd better just find a series or movie to watch. Everything looks like it would be the best thing I've ever watched, but I know better. I chose "Maniac" with E. Stone/J.Hill. And it is incredible right now.

I don't usually get these opportunities, but I think I may have made the best out of this one. I don't feel like drinking, eating weed, or taking anymore gabapentin. I know I am in a different state of thinking/processing right now...but all in a very good way. I don't see myself doing this very often, maybe once or twice a year. But it is fantastic. I just feel warmth, love for all, and very at peace. I'm sure everyone reacts differently, but I know I'm going to really enjoy the next couple hours, hit the sack and be ready to hang out with others on 7/4 tomorrow. Great experience. No no sweating or anger that I get with percs or hydros, no nervousness that I get from edibles every once in awhile. Best part is that I know I need no more alcohol. It's like all of that gabapentin set my mind at ease, yet at the same time it enhanced my thinking level not only to get some work done, but also the feeling of no need for anymore drugs or alcohol. One of my best experiences ever, and I've tried pretty much every drug and alcohol ever made. I guess sometimes the cosmos reaches out to help us all.
