DOSE:
    Methamphetamine
BODY WEIGHT: 200 lb
I began using meth when I was 19 yrs. old. At first I used recreationally, soon I used at least 3 times a week. I think people who say you can't get hooked on it are full of shit. I liked the way meth made me feel. Never being a high energy person, meth gave me energy. When I was upset, I tried to cry but the meth wouldn't let me. Meth makes my armpits sweat the whole time I'm high. I used to walk around with wet marks under my arms all day. Meth also makes my heart beat incredibly fast, sometimes I felt like I couldn't draw a real breath. I think people who tell you that you can use recreationally for a long period of time are also B.S.ing you.

Within a span of months, I was stealing hundreds of dollars a week from my folks to support my habit. All the nice things I acquired were gone very soon. I think people you meet at the dealer's house or on the streets will usually stab you in the back the first chance they get. Soon, I went from snorting meth to injecting it. Don't think because you don't stick needles in your arms, you don't have a problem with meth. My arms would itch like crazy where the needle went in, and I covered my arms with long sleeves or makeup to hide the bruising. I now weigh 200 lbs, when I quit using meth, I weighed 110. (I'm 6ft.2in. tall). The come down from meth sucks. I felt like shit. My heart beat slow, throbbing beats. My eyes burned from not sleeping, and I didn't see 'cool stuff' from not sleeping. I'd get paranoid and fidgety and think that people are against me. All I wanted to do was sleep, but what if I was trying to get up for a job or take care of a kid? I was hating it, I can promise you that.

Not to mention what meth did to my body. Use it enough, my hair would begin to fall out, and so would my teeth. It made my skin look like hell, even if you didn't pick it raw. My mouth got numb and sore from all the crap that went into it. After using enough, I didn't feel normal on meth or sober. Please, take it from me, meth is one drug that might be okay the first time, but I know from experience it goes downhill very fast from there. It's not worth it!!
