This is a recount of my first experience with Nitrous, which was quite a bit more intense than others that I have seen. I had taken about 400 mg of DXM 6 hours before, so the added effects would be little if any.

We had gotten back from a party at the Liquid Room about 5 hours before and had been doing Cocaine and smoking Marijuana up until this point. I had done very little of either so I was feeling pretty much sober. One of the guys that I was with just got back from Cini-Mini where he bought some whipits. I asked if I could have one, and he filled up a balloon for me. I held it in my hand for a minute and breathed in deep a couple of times, then I breathed all my air out and put the balloon to my lips and breathed in the Nitrous. I breathed it in and out maybe 5 times. I then dropped the balloon (I was standing up, since nobody had told me different).

The following events happened at exactly the same time: the trance music playing in the background became choppy and high pitched, My vision zoomed into the black and white checker tile floor (That is all I could see, all I knew, all I had ever knew, I had always been there was the feeling I had). The floor began to spin, and My mind began to decend between the levels of normal consiousness and full consiousness.

I remeber at the time having philisophical experiences that almost made me cry. Things were revealed to me that I had never thought existed. The 4 dimensions of space (Length, Width, Depth, and Time) became perfectly clear and understandable to me.

The structure of our universe and all the subsiquent universes was understandable. The fact that even though our universe took up all the space that exists, infinate others exist through time. The feeling that all our past mishaps and confusion were events that should have happened in other dimensions.

I realized that I had not always been in this place, that somewhere, at sometime I had a worldly body. I began to fear that I would never find my way back there. Then all at once my senses started to come back to normal and I remembered what had happened. I had done a whipit.

I did 6 more in the next hour. All with similar experiences. I have done more intense drugs, but I will always remember Nitrous because of that night.
