Hallucination was a Memory
Salvia
Citation:   Random. "Hallucination was a Memory: An Experience with Salvia (exp14267)". Erowid.org. Aug 3, 2018. erowid.org/exp/14267

DOSE:
1 hit smoked Salvia divinorum (extract - 10x)
BODY WEIGHT: 10 st
For the first time, I took the salvia in a bong and held the smoke in for as long as I could (about 30-40 seconds).

Nothing seemed to happen for a while, then as I was staring at a pattern of parallel lines on my computer case, when I suddenly felt like I was outside, looking at a pattern that I interpreted as terraced houses. And I was being pushed sideways, by some huge force. It was a quite intense. I now know that this was the view out of a bus that I take, at a particular point in the road!

The hallucination had these features:

I could see trapezoid shapes which I now know to be road markings.

Everything to the left of me was divided up into what looked like fence posts. (this was my view through the poles on the bus).

I felt like I was being pushed around (the bus vibrations).

So the whole trip was in fact a memory of sitting in the same seat on the bus so often! It only lasted for about 5 minutes, and I felt pretty normal afterwards. I got the same hallucination with varying intensity every time I tried it.
