Whoever said this was a good combo is not mistaken. I had excellent cannabis (1st generation sativa/indica hybrid) and this made the ride more intense and very lucid. This cannabis barely makes the eyes red though it's completely overpowering.

Before smoking the cannabis, the 5-HTP initially came on and felt a bit like the 'coming up' part of MDMA, though milder. Still, noticeable (this was 2 pills). So I doubled the dose and I think that was plenty--the weed took on a deeper, more lucid quality. COlors seems much more clear and surfaces looked more 'active'. All redness of the eyes was gone, in fact I looked stone cold sober!
