Recently I found a lot of Amanita in the area around where I live. Usually before I try a new substance I do a lot of reading on the subject, though this time I wanted to go into the experience with an unbiased opinion, so I decided not to worry too much and simply see what happened.

I started out by taking about 15g of dried Amanita orally... I waited about an hour before the effects kicked in. I became very sick to my stomach. I was able to keep from puking by smoking about a half gram of pot. I began slobering on my self relentlessly. I begin to sink into the floor of my apartment into my neighbor's apartment below me. I was EXTREMELY lethargic.

By this point in time, a friend of mine, who is obssessed with 'bumping' or insuflating things, suggested that I try to grind up, and bump some Amanita. And so, I did. My friend took a coffee grinder, ground up what he said was about 5 grams, put a tray and rolled up 20$ bill for me, and I proceeded to bump every last bit of dried fungi off the tray. NOT A GOOD IDEA. It tasted and smelled like I had cat food dripping down my throat for about the next 8 hours. Though, I know I became considerably more messed up. After about another hour I had lost the ability to move all together and wasn't sure if I was awake or not.

It was a profound experience, one that I will do again in time. But, I definetly won't bump the stuff... the horrible 'drip' taste in my throat nearly ruined my trip!
