Mindset & setting- I was upset because of a fight I'd had with my friend that same day, and the setting was various public places around my town.

This was the first time I was drunk, it was the last day of my junior year of high school and we just filled up a couple of plastic cups with vodka and drank while walking around. About 20 minutes after I finished the cup I noticed the ground looked a little funny when I walked, and 30 minutes later I definitely felt dizzy. Sometime between then and an hour later I was the drunkest. I was going to get and my face felt kind of numb, like when the dentist gives you novocaine. I'm usually a little reserved but I was talking to people without worrying about anything, and things that would usually be slightly funny were completely hilarious.

Things sort of seemed like they were in a dream. While I was still at my drunkest point, my friends started talking to a guy who I didn't trust, especially since he looked about 25, so I started telling this complete stranger to fuck off, and physically pushing my friends away from him. I only add this detail in because while sober I would never act that aggressively. After that we went to someone's house and I slowly started to come down, and I felt completely normal 2 and a half hours after I first drank. Overall I didn't like the fact that I had to rely on other people so I could feel safe doing stupid things like crossing the street, but now I feel like I know the people I drank with better and like we bonded (I know it sounds cheesy) because we shared that experience.
