Just thought I'd chime in with my first experience with heroin. I've been doing opiates for a while now, actually aquired my taste for them when I had my appendix removed and was getting Demerol for the pain. Since then, I've popped just about every kind of pain pill I can get my hands on, but I'm always pretty careful to keep cool with them and not allow myself to develop dependancy (have in the past, not fun even with Vicodin). Well anyway I asked a friend that I knew did H to hook me up and help me my first time...

I decided to go all the way and do it IV. There is no experience that I have had on any pain killer that would compare. Very quickly after the injection, a warm sensation fills the body, I would guess this lasted to about +0:20 or so. During this time the euphoria is at it's peak. After the shot, I felt extremely shaky, I couln't do much in the way of fine movement. Had to grab a soda or something too, extreme cotton-mouth.

At +0:20 or so I started loosing the initial super-buzz, at this point it started to feel somewhat like chewing (or snorting) 40mg of Oxy-contin; the usuall opiate high set in. One thing that I markedly noticed was that I felt numb, or rather I didn't feel. During highs with Oxy previously I never remember being that noticeably numb.

About +2:00 I decided to head home and lay in my own bed and relax, sleep wouldn't come easy but when it did I had some lucid dreams. By +8:00 or so I couldn't tell that I had done anything.

I've done it since and it's still my favorite drug, I would like to say that I could feel the potential for addiction after the first time. I thought about doing it again for days, and still do when I do it. I know there personally that I can't do it more than once or twice at a time and then put it away.
