DOSE:
10 mg oral Pharms - Zolpidem (daily)
BODY WEIGHT: 220 lb
I started taking Ambien when I had trouble sleeping due to spinal and leg neuropathy stemming from an ice hockey injury. I experienced horrible burning from my lower back down to my toes as well as aches and shooting pain. After trying neurontin, elavil and several other anti-convulive nerve medications, Ambien came into my life and made things better even if it was for just a couple hours.

I started out at 10 mg of Ambien at nightime. After about 10 minutes the drug hits really hard and I feel like everything is great in the world. Nobody how upset or depressed I was feeling because of my legs, the affect of the Ambien would overtake my mind and make me feel great. On top of that it would make the burning in my legs totally subside. Not one bit of neurological pain.

Asside from the wonders it does for the messed up nerves, it makes me very social and also hits me pretty hard with the munchies. I've never really had to up the dose because it always seems to hit with the same intensity in the same amount of time. At the onset I feel fuzziness around my eyes and a rush of euphoria. It last for about 4 hours or until I go to sleep. During the first couple weeks it was very tough and almost impossible to recollect what I had done the night before when I was on the medication. As I've gotten more used to it, I am able to study, and study well, while having almost the same feeling that I've got from the start.
