This afternoon I arrived at my mother's house anticipating the arrival of the Absinthe Original I ordered from the La Boheme company. I was pleasantly surprised to find a small box with a small flask enclosed. I immediately got excited and headed back to my apartment to start making some phone calls to friends who had also been anticipating this arrival. I got ahold of one and he showed up an hour later.

We decided we were going to go driving around and have a drink or two. We got in my car, stopped off for some cranberry and orange juice to make mixers, and proceeded to trip on the highway. He made the first drink, maybe mixing a capful or two into his drink dubbed 'Traffic Light' for its appearance. I took a sip, enjoyed it, and let him finish it off. Then I had him mix me one up and I drank it casually, jamming some death metal smoking a cigarette. Within 20 minutes I was feeling its effects. Lights were tracing and leaving behind marks on my retina. I felt relaxed and giddy. I started to laugh at nothing. My driving capabilities were compromised somewhat. I don't recommend driving at night on this stuff... lights are a NO NO.

Anyway... we ended up at his buddies house, went and got him beer, came back and smoked some opium for awhile. I gave his buddy a sample and he started to act retarded so we left him alone there. On the way back home my driving sucked. I was like, way over to the right on the road. Anyway... it was a good experience. I think the small flask is only 47 bucks and it is worth it! I didn't need much to get going! Once again, an experience I hope to repeat. I am now off to finish the buzz and play guitar, which I am highly looking forward to.
