I have been a pretty big pothead for about a year now- smoking more than once everyday, usually headies because I just love that feeling. I took Valium because I heard it was somewhat like a weed high only better.
Yesterday, my friend and I purchased a 10mg Valium from his cousins boyfriend for 8 a pill- a reasonable price for the supposed 6 hour high. I took it on an empty stomach at around 12 noon, and felt the effects in a surprising 10 minutes. At first my legs started getting resteless, kind of like just before the peak of a ritalin high. My report wont be very accurate, however, because right after this feeling set it my friend whipped out a bowl and we smoked about 10 bowls of the best pot we have ever had- so I will just describe what felt differnt about my high than a normal weed high.
After 20 minutes, I felt pretty restless actually, which I wasn't expecting. I had to walk around, and my head was spinning a little bit. I waited another 30 or 40 minutes, and then it was in full affect. I felt almost total peace of mind, not a care in the world, and no pain or anxiety whatsoever. It was a hot day- in the 90s I would say, and I was sitting right under the sun. My friends were complaining about the heat- but I didn't notice it at all. I proceeded to smoke massive amounts of headies all day- and thats when I really started feeling a difference from the valium. I would be sitting down, smokeing a few cigarettes, and then feel the urge to stand up. When I did tho, I had the most intense headrush that I have felt from a pill and had to sit down. It was like getting up in the morning and seeing stars for a few seconds- times 50. It was enjoyable, but then I had to sit down. Then I started feeling extremely drowsy, but really high. I would go into blank stares- instead of staring at my friends and making conversation I would just stare at trees or shrubs.
About an hour into the main high, I started seeing visuals- but I expect that was just the massive amount of weed I had been smoking. I would be staring and talking at someone and start seeing a slight double image, and a white band of light in the middle dividing the two images. That was very short lasting, but I remember it being the most intense visual of the whole thing.
After the main high was over, I definitely felt more dazed than pot normally makes me. I wasn't as drowsy, but I just felt nice- a bit euphoric but not much, just generally good and comfortable. Later that night after smoking another joint, I went home and layed down in bed- I was exhausted. At that point though, I felt overly happy- ecstatic you might say, and I couldn't really say why. I felt full of love and joy, and then fell asleep.
