DOSE: |
40 mg | oral | Pharms - Methylphenidate |
3 bowls | smoked | Cannabis |
BODY WEIGHT: | 140 lb |
T= 0 minutes: Swallowed 1 20 mg pill. Read the newspaper for about an hour, didn’t feel any effects.
T= 1 hour: Swallowed another 20 mg pill, then promptly smoked 3 bowls of cannabis (each was laced with 1 to 2 drops of hash oil) The room was around 100°F and was comfortable with my fan on its lowest setting.
T= 1 hour & 10 minutes: The pot had kicked in. I still wasn’t aware if the Ritalin had kicked in our not, but I was a bit shaky and had troubles packing the third bowl.
T= 1 hour & 25 minutes: The Ritalin had definitely kicked in while I was smoking the third bowl. My heart was racing and I couldn’t sit still at all. I finished the third bowl, and then laid down and listen to some music. (bad cotton mouth)
T= 1 hour and 40 minutes: I couldn’t concentrate on anything and my body was spasming uncontrollably (I tried to stop it, but to no avail…every part of me was twitching hardcore). At this time, I began to feel incredibly hot (like a really bad fever) and turned up the fan to its highest setting. I also began to hallucinate and hear things. My heart began to race even faster and I got this paranoid belief that I WAS going to have a heart attack and die.
T= 2 hours: The hallucinations were getting more vivid, I couldn’t walk straight, it felt as if the whole house was shaking.
I couldn’t walk straight, it felt as if the whole house was shaking.
T= 2 hours and 10 minutes: I took a cold shower because I could not stand the heat. I was still hallucinating and hearing things. I kept on feeling that I was going to pass out and drown in the shower.
T= 2 hours and 40 minutes: I got out of the shower, and got the munchies bad. I went to the living room (which was in AC) and ate like crazy. I still couldn’t control the shaking and twitching, and I was still burning up. Everything was giving me a headache (I resisted the impulse to pop some ibuprofen). The hallucinations were beginning to calm down.
T= 3 hours: I laid down again in my room, and stopped caring about the burning fever. I stopped thinking that I was going to die of a heart attack or pass out. The hallucinations had stopped, and I was beginning to come down from the weed. I was still convulsing.
T= 3 hours and 30 minutes: The high from the weed is gone by this time. But the Ritalin was still going strong. The convulsions/shaking, and fever kept on going for a long while.
T= 4 hours: I laid down in my room and felt my eyes starting to close. I feel asleep without even noticing it.
After sleeping:
T= 15 hours: I managed to sleep for 10 hours, but I had to wake up for school (I felt like I could of slept for the whole day). I was incredibly hungry, couldn’t concentrate at all. I was slightly shaky and was at a normal body temp. I had horrible cotton mouth for the rest of the day.
T= 16 hours: The shakiness stopped, but I still couldn’t concentrate well.
T= 18 hours: I felt completely normal (could concentrate and everything), but couldn’t remember what had happened in the past week (still don’t!).
