Hi there. First I'd like to let all the readers of this know of my experience with opiates. I had previously used codeine, propoxyphene, and hydrocodone many times, and oxycodone once. My tolerance at the point of this experience was minimal, for I hadn't used any opiates in about a month. I usually use by myself, and i am experienced enough to do just about anything without a 'sitter.' I didnt know much about demerol, this is how i came upon it.

Let's say my friends name is J. J had been in a car accident about a year ago, and was prescribed a few different painkillers. I had gone to J for hydrocodone a few times before, but he had run out of everything from the accident. I was feeling the 'opiate urge' as I call it. It is not a physical withdrawl feeling, but more of a mental urge to use opiates. I was desperate to get something, so we searched through J's parent's bathroom for anything he had missed. He didnt know some of the chemical names of less popular prescriptions, so when I found the bottle of Demerol he was suprised he missed it.

My experience started the next day. It was a hot July day, and my family was forcing me to go up to our beach house for the night. It is usually boring up there, so I decided to bring a couple of the pills and some ganja to keep myself occupied.

T: 1:00 p.m- I rolled up a joint and took two of them. One pill whole and one broken into halves. I like to do this because the whole pill kicks in slowly, while the broken one is broken up faster, causing somewhat of a rush.

T: 1:10- The onset was similar to a moderate dose of hydrocodone. I had that odd feeling, where i wasnt quite there, but I knew it was coming. I was finishing up my joint when the 1st pill hit me. It was definitly a strong feeling. I felt a slight rush and was instantly surrounded by happiness. I decided to get some food, pop, and watch tv. There were guests coming later, and i did not want to cause a scene.

T: 1:30- It had definitly fully kicked in. No feelings of drowsiness or nausea, it was pure opiate stimulation. I got the feeling i usually get during the peak, where everything is enchanced in enjoyability. The weed was definitly a nice kicker. I almost never use opiates without weed, because it takes me to a whole new level.

T: 2:30- I had spent the last hour watching Comedy Central. Everything was funny to me. I found that my eyes got teary easily when I laughed. There were probobly 2 dozen people there at the time, but mostly outside. I usually isolate myself around my distant relatives, but I felt like blending in. I went swimming for a while, and found it easier to talk with my cousins. It was somewhat difficult to stay focused, I wasn't slurring my words but I was definitly spaced out.

T: 2:45- The next thing we did is not something I would suggest anyone do under the influence of anything. My older cousin, S, wanted to go racing on my families sea-doo's. At this point, my ego was high as could be, so I wanted to be the big showoff. I went a lot faster than I normally would have, I was so focused on the adrenaline rush that I kept my hand on the accelorator without noticing. It was fun for the most part, but my hands got too relaxed for the tight grip, and I fell off after about 5 minutes. I was wearing a life jacket of course, and I didnt really get hurt besides a bump on the bottom.

T: 3:15- I went back inside and felt like my high dissapeared because of embarrasment and the after shock of the experience. I had the munchies pretty bad, so i ate while I calmed myself down.

T: 3:30- I was feeling really relaxed and a little drowsy, so I decided to take a little more to get back up. I broke another one in half and took it. While I waited for it to kick in, i went into the woods with my pipe to have a smoke. I find it easier to use a bowl when messed up, just break it up and throw it in! I spend the next 20 minutes taking long hits, while listening to some good hip hop music.

T 4:00- I lost track of time while i was out there. I had been laying on the grass listening to music for what seemed like maybe 10 minutes, but when I went inside it was about 4. It seemed like the high started all over again, except i was a bit more drowsy and spaced out. I picked out a funny movie and relaxed for the next two hours. After that, I took a little nap out in the woods with my pipe.

T: 7:00- I woke up at about this time, and took a few hits to fight off the dizzyness. The rest of the night felt easy. We had a campfire later, shot of fireworks, and played a lot of grand theft auto.

I would have to rank Meperidine as an 8 out of 10. It wasnt nearly as good as oxycodone, but it was a bit better than vicodin. I'm not really sure what average recreational doses are for it, but 150 mg over 2 and a half hours was definitly enough for me. I would definitly do this drug again, no doubt, but id rather stick with vikes and percs.
