Clonazepam Is Wonderful!

I have been taking Clonazepam (Klonopin) for quite some time, almost 2 years, and it is the best prescription I have been able to aquire. I normally took my 1mg tablets 3 times daily, which works great for anxiety and panic disorder! I still do to this day.

0.5mg of Clonazepam is approximately equal to 10mg of Diazepam (Valium). I have been more sociable, outgoing, and most of all, free of my disabiling severe panic disorder. It is a long-acting benzodiazepine, meaning it stays in your system longer, allowing it to keep panic from reoccuring quicker. I was prescribed Alprazolam (Xanax) before Clonazepam, which is much more powerful, but it is a short-acting benzodiazepine. Although it worked well at first, because it was the first benzodiazepine I took in my life, I was only prescribed 0.25mg, 3x daily, which wasn't enough to keep the panic away. I ended up taking them all, and my doctor was concerned, and put me on Clonazepam, and when I was suffering horrible withdrawels from the Alprazolam, as soon as he wrote me a prescription for my first dosage of Clonazepam -- 0.5 mg, 2x daily, I took the first one, and the withdrawels ended ubruptly, and I was well, and even better.

He doubled my dose the next month, and then doubled it again, but when I decided to try Diazepam (Valium), which I took 10mg 3x a day, I went back to the Clonazepam, and instead of getting 120 1mg, I was put on 90 1mg, maybe because I am taking 1x 2mg Estazolam (ProSom) now for sleep. Before that, I was taking 1x 30mg Temazepam (Restoril).

Long, Long after, I decided I would try to take 4 2mg tablets of Clonazepam, that my mom was prescribed, seeing so that I am quite tolerant to the medication. I decided to take all four at once. About 15 to 20 minutes later, I was feeling extremely tranquilized! My body felt fuzzy, and my walking was sloppy, it was wonderful! I went out and talked to some of my friends across the street from me, but I wasn't interested, because it was cold outside, and I wanted to lay down on the couch, and light up some cigarettes. I felt chill for a few hours, but it was an extreme feeling of bliss and nothing to worry about, and not a bad thought came to mind. I was swaying my head around, everytime I would move or look at something. I did this for fun, but knowing that I can handle a lot of sedatives and tranquilizers, and opiates/opioids, I figured it would be a good time to do it, since I was almost out of my own pills.

Basically, I was on 160mg of Valium, since 0.5mg Clonazepam is 10mg of Valium, and 2mg is equal to 40mg of Valium, and I took four. It was definately more powerful than taking 4 10mg of Diazepam (Valium), which I was prescribed after and then back to the Clonazepam again. Clonazepam (Klonopin), overall, is great for severe panic disorder, and is fun to take at higher doses, esp. when I've lost tolerence or don't have tolerance.
