60 mg oral Codeine (pill / tablet)
  T+ 4:30 60 mg oral Codeine (pill / tablet)
BODY WEIGHT: 165 lb
Excellent opiate

This was my first foray with Codeine. I've had it's opiate cousin Hydrocodone a handful of times, for various injuries, etc, with good results (pain relief, mild euphoria).

Anyway, I had recently smashed myself in the lip with a piece of firewood, resulting in a split lip, two somewhat loose teeth, and scratched gums. I was in a considerable amount of pain and happened to tell a friend about this over the phone one evening. She told me she had a quantity of Tylenol 3 (16 tabs, 30mg Codeine each), and that I was welcome to these if I wanted them. I said sure, and she brought them over.

I started with -her- recommended dose, 60 mg, or 2 tabs (the label had been removed). I verified the tablet online as most responsible people do. The effects came on quickly but mildly, in about 20 minutes. All of a sudden, I noticed that the pain was not completely gone, but totally insignificant to me. There was mild euphoria and a general feeling of well being and also the strange feeling that everything around me and everything in my life was somehow 'alright', if you will. No remarkable loss of motor skills, and I felt I could even perform at work on such a substance. The only annoying thing was the itching sensation I had which alleviated itself after about an hour.

The effects wore off in approximately 4-5 hours, at which point I re-dosed with another 60 mg, or 2 more tabs. The effects came on even faster this time, I'm guessing since the narcotic was still in my system.

This time, no pain whatsoever. Feelings of well-being and contentment are intensified with no ill effects. I've read that some people experience naseau, but I had none. Again, no loss of motor skills that would prevent me from doing everyday tasks. itching no worse than the first time.

The 16 tabs were gone within a 36 hour period, and I understand now how people become addicted to this substance. I felt no 'withdrawal' or anything of the sort, but somehow missed the feeling of general well being. It's very difficult to describe, just a feeling of

I would experiment with higher doses, as do alot of people who have posted about online, but the experience I had at my dose was rather effective and fun, with zero side effects.
