This is describing a very enjoyable experience with Adderall during January of 2006. Many of my friends had ADD/ADHD, so I had access to the drug whenever I wanted(for free, might I add). Note that this is my personal experience, it may not be the same for everyone, but it was extremely fun for me.

Before I actually tried Adderall, I had been taking Concerta(or any number of other more serious drugs, such as glass or X to speed. However, I had heard from many people that Adderall was so much better, but I had no idea until I actually tried it. I figured it would be equivalent to taking large doses of Concerta. Boy was I wrong.

So I was in the car with my friend, and I found a 30 mg tablet of Adderall. I snatched it from the car, and took it right when I got home. Before this, I hadn't checked the recommended dosage for a good experience, so I wasn't sure whether I had taken enough.

After about a half hour, I felt the familiar effects of other ADD medication I had taken in the past. I began to concentrate and think about things more that usual. I actually helped my friend with math homework, which I have never done in my life. An hour total passed without any real speedy results, and I was kind of bummed out. All of a sudden, it hit me and I was in a heavy speeding state. I couldn't control my jaw, as it was moving out of control, grinding my teeth. I had also become extremely hot, and I was sweating out of control.

I had taken it around 4:30 PM and in the midst of the effects, I sat down for a while waiting for a friend to be ready to leave his house. After about an hour of waiting on his recliner, I stood up to leave with him, and a sudden, powerful wave of tingling and dizzyness came upon me, and I almost fell on the floor right there. This happened every time I would sit down for about 30 minutes. .

Around 10:00 PM my two friends and I bought a 5th of gin and decided to take shots at my house. After about the 5th or 6th shot, the dizzy feeling stayed with me for the remainder of the night. It was similar to being drunk, except I got even more hot, and the speeding multiplied, so my eyes were constantly looking around the room no matter how hard I tried to concentrate. This lasted for about 2 hours, and I enjoyed every second of it. So it was around midnight when the alcohol effect wore off, and I was still speeding. From midnight on, I was surprised at how gentle I was coming down. From my experience with many speedy drugs, the harder I speed, the harsher the come down. This was not the case. From midnight to 4 AM I was gradually coming down with a very nice euphoric feeling, except it was very strange because although I was coming down, I pretty much sped through the whole come down stage until the crash, in which I pretty much passed out in my room without much effort put toward sleeping. What was probably just as strange was that I woke up at 6:00 AM feeling unusually rested for the day ahead. This has never happened to me the morning after speeding. I usually wake up with my legs feeling like I ran 10 miles, my jaw feeling like I did nothing but chew on steel all night, and my mind completely exhausted. Luckily, this was not the case.

All in all, this was a very enjoyable experience for me. As for next time, I plan to take a higher dosage...such as 50 mg or 60 mg and see what happens from there.
