Zolpidem
Citation:   Tiburon. "Dream Like Awareness: An Experience with Zolpidem (exp52615)". Erowid.org. Jan 2, 2020. erowid.org/exp/52615

DOSE:
10 mg oral Pharms - Zolpidem (pill / tablet)
BODY WEIGHT: 220 lb
I have been taking Ambien for 2 years, not every night but a few times a week.

Ambien will put me OUT if I allow it to.
For a different experience...
I occasionally choose to fight the urge to pass out, if I can make it past the initial jolt then I can enjoy the Ambien 'high'.

First sign is a tingly feeling in my scalp. Not a head-rush... just a slight tingle.
After a few yawns, my vision will go a little fuzzy and the urge to sleep soon passes.
(warning: this is a sleeping pill that is easily defeated; once I fight past the urge to sleep, I may be awake for SEVERAL HOURS)
After 30 minutes have passed, the full Ambien experience begins.
The best way to describe it is to compare it being high off weed without all the overhead... no headrushes, not increased heart rate, no uncontrollable laughing. Just a floating feeling, like I am living in third person perspective. Or even better, I have a feeling like I am in a waking dream.

Not addicting for me, but I have a HARD time falling asleep the next night. Hence the propensity for 'addiction'.

Only side effect, I DO NOT remember my dreams. And my wife tells me that I am bitchy the next day.
