These blotters were small, about the size of the typical LSD dose. Of course I knew DOC was likely to be very strong and long acting as this drug was reported to be, so it all seemed reasonable, After all this I left his house for Atlanta and got onto some nice country roads and decided to eat half of one of the blotters.
About 20 minutes before I had eaten 10 mg of Adderal because I had a long day already and now faced a long drive. The paper tasted chemically, like 2c-E or 2c-I , and seemed to produce mild stimulation within 10 minutes (of course I had taken amphetamine 30 min prior to this point, so that probably had something to do with it) As we passed into south Carolina, a strange drowsy sort of psychedelic state was slowly overtaking me, and we switched drivers.
By the time we reached Georgia, 4 hours after ingestion, the full effects began to manifest themselves, and apparently I had eaten the other half of the blotter somewhere in South Carolina. I was tripping very hard, and pulled out some herb and smoked that, which made me trip even harder. When I reached my house at 2 AM I was tripping harder still, and had a strange and awkward conversation with my dad who was still lurking around from some reason (I think). At this point my girlfriend had probably passed out, and I got lost in my house. I remember talking with a square shaped puddle, which was never able to find, nor recall it’s location.
[Erowid Note: Driving while intoxicated, tripping, or extremely sleep deprived is dangerous and irresponsible because it endangers other people. Don't do it!]
In the morning I had fallen asleep or at least into a trance and my dad awakened me at about 7:30 to get me to drive him to the tire place to pick up his car. Upon awakening I realized I was tripping even harder now, and so I got online and learned the true effects of DOC, 24 hours. I had suspected as much, but had never actually ingested one of these 24 hour trips, 2c-e was sort of close. The drive was short, but the roads all had like 10 lanes. I was seeing two layers of vision (at least) there were the normal cars all stopping and going at stoplights, but there were these giant hornet-like insect things flying in squadrons all about the intersections. At one point I followed a group of these to a red light, which they failed to stop at, and I almost followed them. Things got more wild from there and I was unable to eat for the entire day.
Finally now, 36 hours past ingestion I am returning to baseline fully. DOC is a wild ride, not for the faint-minded. I got a lot more, but I don’t know what to do with it. One really does need more than 24 hours to deal with this stuff. Had I taken more than 1, it really may have been scary, of course the odd mobile setting had some to do with the insecurities I felt.
