Firstly I want to say this was my first experience with pharms, I prefer substances with entheogenic properties as I feel they serve more of a purpose than simply providing enjoyment, but I was curious about these particular drugs and when the opportunity arose I could not resist.

So I had been interested in Barbiturates for a while now, but in my area, there isn't much around except for reefer and shrooms, if you want to try something else, chances are you're going to have to go somewhere else. By some twist of fate however, both Fiorinal (Includes Aspirin) and Fioricet (Includes Acetaminophen) found their way to me.

I chose to take the Fiorinal, as I have heard several things about the toxicity of Acetaminophen, and simply didn't want the risk if i didn't have to have it. I took two capsules on a relatively empty stomach (I had eaten 9 hours ago) at 5:00PM.

The setting for the experience was my room in my house, a very comfortable place for me, no fear of being caught and many delightful stimuli.

5:15 - I begin to notice a very mild sedation, which, as many people have said, resembles alcohol intoxication. I begin to stutter and slur my speech.

5:30 - A mild head buzz and general improvement of mood. I would not describe this as being 'high', I felt like my sober self for the most part, but could tell that something was off. Whenever I attempt to speak, I find it exceedingly difficult, having to repeat words several times to get them right, occasionally repeating the same word many times for no reason.

6:00 - Head buzz persists, but doesn't increase in intensity. Slightly increased sense of novelty, the Simpsons was on TV and I found it hilarious (moreso than usual). It's at this time I begin to notice some nausea, It is nothing compared to the nausea I experience with alcohol at the same levels to produce the same effects, and it fades as quickly as it comes.

8:00 - Effects are virtually gone, a very insignificant head buzz persists, but this is all.

Overall, I deemed Butalbitol, to be all right. It wasn't amazing, but it definately has a noticeable affect which couldn't be called placebo. I found the experience much like alcohol, but with much less nausea, and a greater deal of mental lucidity but if I had tried to talk to anyone, I would have sounded positively shitfaced. Quite curiously, I noticed absolutely zero analgesia, which is what this particular drug is usually prescribed for. I plan to try Barbs again, but with cannabis to see how the two substances synergize, if they do at all. But as for Barbiturates becoming something I keep in stock I highly doubt, the positive effects are simply overshadowed by price and what is apparently a significant potential for addiction.
