When I was in the military I worked many different shifts, ergo I was prescribed ambien to help fight insomnia brought on by working nights one week, to swing shift the other to days the next.

Anyhow I will explain my Ambien experience in two parts: Part one, my first time experience (20mg), Part two, my complete galactic trip (200 mg)

My first experience:

My friend who had been prescribed this drug gave me a couple, because I told him that I had had trouble sleeping. I had never heard of ambien and he gave me two. I took them and hung around his room.

I remember being disroiented and not really realizing that I was messed up. I had not been warned of the effects of ambien and it took me completely by surprise. I had trouble finding my way back to my dorm, and along the way I stopped to look at the parked cars, they seemed to move, to almost dance in the moonlight. The moonlight seemed like a thousand sharp edged beams radiating downward. I then proceeded to my dorm, stumbling several times and trying to make tattered conversations with people and inantimate objects.

End of first experience.

On many of my experiences I have found myself plunged head first into my computer (on 20mg) typing endless streams of aol jibberjabber to my close friends saying embarrassing things. I remember the lines and letters I was typing seemed to keep escaping from my vision.

200 mg experience

At the height of my ambien binge I remember taking 5 10 mg tablets one night then following into a stupor and drunkenly taking the rest (very very very dangerous!) which amounted to 20 10 mg tabs or 200mgs.

I don't remember much about that night that was different than the usual onset of 20mgs at the BEGINNING of the trip: I can vaguely remember at the end of my trip being in a universe of silver spiderwebs gleaming in some weird light, with rainbow colored prismatic butterflies flitting about. After that I passed out.
