Bliss, Astral Projection, and Lucid Dreaming
Wormwood

DOSE:
3 ml oral Wormwood (extract)
BODY WEIGHT: 60 kg
I bought a bottle of liquid Wormwood (Artemisia Absinthium) extract at an alternative health store. Apparently 1 ml or so a day helps with stomach problems, which is where the name Wormwood originates from. People with stomach worms and such would take it as medicine.

I've always been prone to lucid dreaming and once in awhile I find I can astral project briefly. However, it is often a frightening experience for me and I have never really enjoyed it. I am a person who suffers everyday from great amounts of stress and acute depression.

When I first bought the bottle, I took about 3ml at once and then went to sleep. I thought it would help me with my stomach problems. That night, not only was my stomach feeling wonderful, I was finding it much easier to lucid dream than I usually do. I kept waking up every so often and then falling back into some sort of lucidness. At first I would feel vibrations all around me. I thought maybe it was my heart pounding too hard and shaking the bed. Now I do not think this is the case. After the vibrations ceased, my body felt heavy and I became paralyzed. My mind was awake and I knew I was dreaming. I saw dark shadows crawling all over the room and I was frightened by this. I kept screaming to wake myself up, then as soon as I would break free from my paralysis (this would take about 10 minutes of screaming and struggling) I would be so tired that I would fall back asleep again. This happening all night until morning.

The next few times I took the wormwood, the same thing happened. After about the third or fourth night like this, the fear of lucid dreaming ceased and I felt free. Last night before I went to bed I decided to put on some relaxing ambient music instead of the metal I usually listen to and took 3 ml of the extract along with a couple beers. Soon I was in complete bliss. I felt free of all worry and stress and I felt as if I were floating. I forgot how good it felt to not have stress or depression. I sat there for a few hours in bliss before taking another ml and heading off to bed. I kept the music playing and as I closed my eyes, I almost fell asleep. But this time I wasn't lucid dreaming. I was astral projecting. I felt my body spinning and turning and when I opened my eyes I was a couple inches away from my body. I got up and walked over to my table where I saw mini trains flying at me. I kept catching them and throwing them out the window. They kept coming and coming and I kept throwing them and throwing them back and finally I got annoyed so I ate one. Tasted like train.

After that I walked over to my parents room to see if I could get their attention. I tried to, but they wouldn't wake up. I then went back to my room and decided that was enough of an adventure for the night and rolled back into bed and into my body. It took me once again, ten minutes or so to wake up from that and get my body to start moving again. But for once I wasn't screaming from fear. I was just taking my time coming out of it.

Today I wasn't going to take any more of it, or at least wait until night time but I felt a bit stressed out again and I took 1 ml. Soon enough I am feeling very relaxed and happy once again. It is a more carefree feeling high than weed. It is smoother and I feel I have to think less and just be.
