Amanita Muscaria: The First Journey

First of all let me say that this Amanita Muscaria was purchased online, and there was no way of detailing how long it had been since harvest, or the curing method used. It smelled like an oil of mushroom, with alot of stem, caps, and dust at the bottom.

After ingesting the amount above (roughly one cap .5-1' Dia, and 1 stem -- 1.2-2.0 grams), there is a twenty minute time lapse, then it hit my stomach like gas, not nausea or vomitting, but cramping (it last for around 5-10 minutes), then the 'head' part of the high came on. A sense of calm, and slight change in vision (everything seemed to be moving a bit slower than usual), slowed heart beat, a light-headed feeling overall. This continued for around an hour.

I must note however that, I do have a high tolerance to chemicals, i.e. I smoke, drink, and currently am studying the effects of many ethnogenic plants and herbs, yet I still felt the effects of amanita. And most noteably, were the feelings of pure primal instincts. The need to growl, or stalk instead of walk...A hightened sense of awareness without the violence. Be careful.
