I was wondering why they kept referring to it as 'The Jungle Pill.' It was a boring night and we were looking for something to do. I ask 'do you have any drugs?' she said no, we did them all the night before. I laugh at that gesture. Then her eyes get wide as though she remembered something, in fact she had. 'I have some of those jungle pills.' I was curious. 'What are they?' I ask. 'I used to need them to sleep, it's sleep medicine but if you take enough of it, you hallucinate.'

I thought, why not. I have nothing to lose. She says 'this is all I have left, you can take them though.' I looked at the what looked like a large amount to me in question. 'I'm supposed to take this many, I don't want to die.' She laughs, 'You aren't gonna die, you need to take this many or it won't work.' For some reason, I believed her. I swallowed the 4 1/2 pills all at once. I sat there waiting. 'What am I supposed to feel?' I asked. 'You'll see.' I was convinced that it wasn't working, at that point I got angry. John called to ask if we wanted to go for a ride with him, we agreed.

We're waiting outside for him and I'm smoking a cigarette and I start to notice weird things. I didn't want to say anything at first. It looked like little tribal guys. Trying to poke me with these spear-like weapons. The trees were moving and the bushes had faces. It felt like I was out there for an hour, when in reality it was about 10 minutes.

John arrives, we get in the car. I guess. I don't remember actually getting in the car, but I do remember being inside the car. There was a passenger in the front and one in the back. She sat in the middle. I got really hot so I put the window down and stuck my head out of it. The kid in the back kept staring at me and at one point I felt as though everybody in the car was staring at me. That's all I can remember from the car ride. It seemed like we were in the car for 5 seconds, but I was told we were gone for at least a half an hour.

We arrive back at the house, John leaves. I laid in bed and felt dizzy. She asked me if I felt okay, I told her I did. I didn't want to scare her.

Not a bad experience, per say. A scary one though. I haven't taken any since. The hallucinations were undescribable and uncontrollable and waking up the morning after is like waking from a coma. I couldn't remember a thing.
