A not-very-bright friend of mine gave me some pre-ground Yopo seeds. He said when he snorted it he didn't have any visuals, just an intense body high. He said that it wouldn't be psychedelic at all, and suggested I do it in the school bathroom during lunch. I didn't think that was a good idea at all, because I had read reports about people having intense experiences with DMT.

When I got home, I snorted all of what he gave me, and lay down on the bed. The burning in my nose subsided and I began to feel different. I felt it in my legs first, a heavy feeling, and I started to wonder if it would be like the body high my friend had described. The feeling became stronger, and then I felt a strange 'pull' in the stomach, like I was getting sucked into something. So I closed my eyes, and saw all of these bright colors spinning and spiraling downward. I felt my whole body being sucked into the vacuum of color.

At this point I knew it wasn't just a body high, and I felt a little bit frightened, and opened my eyes. The whole room was completely distorted. The walls were breathing, and I found the texture fascinating. There is a woodgrain desk in my room, and it began to morph into strange shapes that would dance around.
After several more minutes of this, I began to come down, and I felt normal within 30 minutes of snorting the Yopo.

Second to salvia divinorum, this was my most intense trip. The taught me how to meditate, to focus all my energy on just one thing. I found that if I tried to take everything in at once, the visions would diminish, but if I directed all of my energy to just one vision, it would be replaced by a long string of others.
