My friends had bought the strongest extract around, 20x, and had a bunch left over so they offered it to my friend and I. Having never tried salvia before my curiosity was peaked as I'd tripped on mushrooms over 10 times before and had dabbled in various other substances. We packed a mini bong with a little bit of some marijuana and then filled the rest with the salvia.

I took one hit off it and passed it to my friend, almost immediately I started to feel pretty high but was couldn't help but be disappointed that it wasn't stronger so I took one more even bigger hit. At this point my friend kept laughing for no apparent reason and as I exhaled I felt this weight in my body pulling me sideways/forward. I looked over at a mirror and dresser and thought it looked weird and I felt compelled to stand up from the bed I was seated on and walk the five feet over to the dresser. I remember looking at the dresser and the mirror, realizing it only looked weird because it was angled strangely and pulled out from the wall on one side. According to my friends what happened next was I mumbled something about lying down and I lied down on the floor next to the bed.

I had no idea what was going on, I still had some sort of awareness but there was nothing around me at all. I was in a huge white vacant space but I had no body or control over what was happening. In the distance a very detailed gold frame appeared started to get closer, then more of these gold frames appeared and kept coming closer to me, or maybe I was getting closer to them. Once I was able to make out the frames I saw my friends faces in them who were in the room with me and I recognized them but they looked slightly different, they were dressed up in ancient Grecian garb, complete with the crown made out of vines.

As time passed I started to see more of their body appear in the frame as the frame stretched out and got bigger, I was looking mostly at my one friend and I could see him in a toga type outfit from the knees up when I was thrown into another scene. I was trying to understand what was happening but was still completely confused and I still had forgotten that I had taken the salvia. I was looking at this white hallway/structure thing but it was huge and there were these pipes that almost looked like bamboo material that ran from one side to the other. There were some windows and someone who I thought was some kind of teacher in a long dress on some kind of patio/platform down at the end who I wanted to talk to because I knew they'd have the answers I wanted but I couldn't reach them as I was stuck behind bars and had no control over what was happening, it was almost as if I was a part of this world or I was just floating through.

Next thing I knew I started to come a little bit back into reality and I was laying on the floor and I felt as though I was all tangled up in these blankets and sheets and I needed to escape and was thrashing around trying to untangle myself. I finally escaped and as I was looking around everything (people, objects, the room) was outlined in these moving lines that looked like red/blue fluorescent lights and everything had a cartoonish/surreal appearance to it. I was still confused and tried to formulate thoughts and sentences but was unable to. I looked down at the floor and saw some sort of car/race track toy thing that was outlined in the same florescent lights and looked really cartoonish (it wasn't really there).

I managed to stand up and stumbled my way over to the bed where I had sat to smoke, trying to form words the entire time but unable to. The fluorescent outlines morphed into little pencils that were still outlining everything and I was unable to move correctly or talk. I kept wanting to ask everyone what was going on but every time I tried to talk my body felt as though it was being pulled forward into itself, I couldn't move my hands apart and my face felt as though it was being pulled forward and stretched down towards my hands which were close together right below my chest, it wasn't painful at all just really disorienting. Some colors were moving and everything had a sort of surreal quality to it, which made me think of shroom trips I'd taken in the past.

I sat down and was leaning forward, the more I tried to talk the more my face was pulled downward towards my hands, it was almost as though there was an invisible force connecting the two. It had felt like I'd been gone for at least an hour and a half but it turned out it was actually only about 3 to 5 minutes. The visuals started to subside but the confusion lingered, at one point my friend who had taken it also had pulled out his cell phone and I had remembered the warning on the package that said to turn your phone off so I started to freak out a little that he couldn't have his phone because it would mess things up.

Once I remembered that I had done salvia I was able to talk again. After I was able to talk again my body still felt weird and I felt really really high. I finally was able to walk out and talk to other people but I was almost in shock at how intense the trip had been, it was the only out of body experience that I've had.
