I have battled with depression all of my life for the most part. It was always a battle with supplements then to prescription drugs. I could never get resolution or relief from this depression. I also have PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and have been on tons of drugs the last being wellbutrin because SSRI's never work neither do benzodiazepines in the long term.

I came across a bottle of marinol that my dad had been prescribed during his chemo treatments. He refused to take the marinol and it was left in the cabinet for almost a year. One day I decided to research it and found out that it was synthetic THC. I was shocked that I hadn't known this earlier. I began taking up to 3 mg daily and have noticed a dramatic lift in my depression. It also stimulates appetite which was good for me. This works way better than any SSRI or antidepressant I've ever tried. Too bad it is so hard to find and obtain.
