I have been in love with opiates for years and have tried quite a selection. I've tried codeine, tramadol, hydrocodone, oxycodone, morphine, heroin no. 4, opium and buprenorphine. I am presently slightly dependent. I have very mild withdrawal symptoms.

I am now prescribed buprenorphine in the form of 2mg suboxone pills. I, like many others, had a lot of questions concerning this strange antagonist/agonist opioid in regards to being recreational.

Most of the questions I have heard from other opiate enthusiasts are regarding information on administration.

My report will be a comparison between the sublingual and intranasal routes of administration.

SUMMARY: The same dose of 4 mg was taken on different days. The first day the tablets were taken under the tongue as directed by the manufacturer. In the second experience the tablets were meticulously pulverized and prior to insufflating I moistened my sinus with water to aid absorbtion. The effects were much more pronounced, the duration stayed the same, and the onset was much quicker but still gradual with the second method.

Sublingual

0:00 2 x 2mg Suboxone tablets are placed under my tongue.
0:10 Tablets are gone, however, I still have not swallowed.
0:15 Swallow bitter tang wanna be Suboxone spit.
0:45 Any tension is eased. I become happy just because. Slight analgesia felt.
1:00 Effects are stronger, it feels like an opiate, but much less euphoria.
1:30 Peak effects reached.
2:00 Feel normal. No cravings, slight floaty feeling for the rest of the day.

Sublingual

0:00 Insufflated 2 x 2 mg
0:10 significant analgesia. Lower back, knee, and ankle pains (medical condition) are relieved.
0:30 I am buzzed alright.
0:45 full peak effects, in half the time as sublingual. I feel as though I had taken an 8 mg
0:50 1 x 2 mg insufflated
1:10 I am zonked (super nod)
6:00 still feel the after glow and my mood is definitely still altered in a good way.

In conclusion... I think crushing them and snorting them results in the best effects.
