I've consumed pennyroyal tea a several occasions (the last being around 1993) I've never noticed any effect -- many of my relatives have consumed it, as it is a traditional drink where they come from. I've never heard of any psychoactive or other effect happening to anyone. It tastes great (like mint but stronger and better) and nothing else. People should not mistake it for a drug of any kind.
