600-4500 mg | oral | Pharms - Pregabalin | (capsule) |
BODY WEIGHT: | 230 lb |
1st experience. 8pm Sunday night, took 300 mg. Half hour later took 300 more. Warm fuzzy feeling while surfing the net. Took 600 mg more – animated euphoric effect lasting several hours, till 3am. Opiate like euphoria but not sleepy. Motor control definitely affected.
Subsequent experiences: 30 – 45 capsules on empty stomach (75 mg each). Over 1 year, repeated use with 45 100mg caps dissolved in hot coffee. (Yes, that’s 4.5 grams of drug.) The only way to describe the effect of this drug is “loopy”. I'm loopy. Talkative, outgoing, animated, happy. The buzz comes on slowly and the best way to do it is to parachute the caps in hot coffee and chug it down. With 45 caps, the high lasts a looong time – 8 to 10 hours at least. During this animated euphoria my back pain disappears and I walk around on rubber legs. Able to work, inclined to work on personal/creative projects. The next day I get up and go to work and say to myself, man, I am STILL high on this drug.
Lyrica puts me into the state of consciousness called “flow” – I lose all sense of time and just immerse myself in whatever i'm doing. Have done this at work and I get very productive and the negative attitudes I have towards some projects disappear and I do them and get them done! I'm in the moment and time has no meaning.
A few beers about halfway through this period really heighten and extend the high. I can drink a lot, 9 or 10 beers, and the Lyrica mellows out any harshness or hangover from the alcohol. Great at lower doses for hangovers – I take 10 caps if i'm used to tweaking on 45.
In any case I do develop a tolerance. If I take the other 45 caps the next day I do not get the same high. With doses this high I can get into a dopey state where i'm hardly breathing (I have to remind myself to breathe) and doing things becomes difficult. At that point it’s best to stop using it and wait a few weeks.
Other sequelae - motor tics the next day. I get the 'dropsies'. Don't handle fine china.
