I went to my doctor hinting that I wanted Adderall, since I am in college. I've tried Adderall from my friend multiple times and its a hell of a drug. My doctor decided that Strattera would be better for me. He put me on a dose of 40mg (one pill) for the first three days and then two pills a day from then on. I've read that at the beginning there is a decreased mood and thoughts of suicide, I agree but not to degree of suicide.

After about a week or two of taking two pills daily I did notice a better ability for me to study. I could study for longer periods of time without being distracted, and once I finished the goal I gave myself for that session in the library I felt an amazing feeling of accomplishment. This lead to me wanting to study more and more.

Despite this seeming like an awesome drug it had a couple side effects. The weirdest was that ejaculation would occur before an orgasm. Also I had a slightly decreased libido. The most severe side effect was my mood while the drug was in full effect. For roughly the eight to ten hours after I had taken my dose my mood would be completely flat. I wouldnt want to interact with friends and it would be hard to get a laugh out of me. This is the main reason, and that the semester is over, that I'm going to stop taking Atomoxetine.

Overall, I enjoyed it just in the sense that its something new. I'm a frequent codeine and hydro user and love my pills. The changes that a tiny capsule can have on my entire body continue to fascinate me.
