To preface this, I spent years in the Rave scence in Balt/DC area, from 1993-1999. I did everything that was around. K (lots), speed (lots), MDA, MDE, MDMA, PCP, DMT, Mushrooms, Mescaline, Cocaine (not much), LSD, ect, ect, ect... I loved LSD and mushrooms before I tried ecstasy (@16yo), then I began to dislike tripping. Lasted too long and I had a few bad trips. Just made me feel weird, and screwed up my next days. I much prefered other substances. Since my teenage years however, I have been a fairly boring law abiding citizen, except New Years.
On New Years Eve 2007 I was given what I thought was MDMA. They were light green tablets, and very crumbly. My boyfriend and I were supposed to go out, but he wasn't feeling well. I was suprised when he expressed the desire to eat pills. It was NYE, after all.
We took our first pill around 11pm. Moments later, I got a phone call from a friend who had taken the same pill and was tripping (very unexpectedly). He was enjoying it, but his girlfriend was vomiting and spent the night shivering under the covers.
In less than an hour, things began to change quickly. It came on like a trip, very mild waves that felt similar to ecstasy, but everything looked weird.

We could not stop laughing. I cannot emphasize that enough. Aside from my friend who was miserable, the 6 other people I knew had to remove themselves from public, and laughed the entire time. We put a cable electronic station on TV and were fixated by it. Could not stop talking or laughing, but movement was out of the question. We touched a little, but were on different sides of the bed and content with that. Not very lovey at all. But tripping like crazy. It felt more like psilocybin mixed with MDE than anything.
We took another pill around 3am (4 hours later). We weren't coming down, but wanted to see what would happen. It was intense, but not too much so. My stomach muscles hurt from laughing so hard. We came up with so many inside jokes that 1yr and 8 months later they are still running strong. The cable channel got 'stuck', so while it kept playing different electronic songs, the screen was stuck on a 'Leftfield' track. The caption underneath said 'During a performance in London, Leftfields bass vibrations were so loud that the ceiling disintegrated'.
It did not feel like hours, it WAS hours. I took giggly pictures of the TV between 3am-9am. The camera proved the next day that this was not just in our heads. And still, we couldn't stop laughing. We were not tired at all (and my boyfriend was sick with a mild fever and cold BEFORE he ingested the mystery pills).
Noon the next day, we were still whacked out visually and laughing. All night and the next day, I kept having to sneak out of the bedroom to urinate (hiding from my roommate), although I did not drink very much water. There was definately a stimulant aspect to the trip, although moving wasn't high on my list. I was sweaty and shakey, and couldn't do ANYTHING but lay on the bed and shake with laughter.
We started to feel a little more normal around 5-6 PM the next day. Yet when we finally had a mild appitite and ordered pizza, I could barely navigate stairs, and I felt like I had a stamp on my forehead that advertised to the delievery driver that I was blitzed.
That night (about 24 hours later), we smoked some and were finally able to fall asleep at 3am or so. I felt a little off for the next day.
I don't know what I did, and am very very curious.

That was the last time I have done anything like that. It may have been something that some whacky chemist dreamed up and hadn't made it to legal questioning yet. What on earth did I take?????? I haven't found anything that resembles the experience myself, friend, and 6 other people I've spoken to have had. I've been wondering about this for years.
Kids (and adults!), be careful! These days, you never know what you are getting. We were lucky and had fun, however it could have turned ugly. Do your research, and don't take unnecessary risks. You never know what you are in for!!!
