Friends and psychonauts. I want to share this experience for anyone considering using Noman’s tek for rendering relatively pure Mimo spice.

The tek is, over all excellent and consistent. But, I wanted to issue a warning surrounding the recycling Naptha.

I recently performed an extraction using naptha that had been recycled many times (probably in excess of ten or more full extractions). Over the course of this experiment I noticed a change in coloration of the spice with direct correlation to how many times the Naptha had been recycled—going from for the most part white, to bearing an ever-increasing green yellow tint.

This time around I wound up with something like 300-400 mg of very green/yellow spice. After separating the product from the Naptha, I dried it, chopped it up very finely and washed it with what should have been much more than enough ammonia.

At the end of the day I loaded up something around 120-150 mg or so and fired up. It was a painful experience. I couldn’t even make it all the way through a single rip before I was coughing insanely and trying to wash away the searing feeling from my throat. I wanted to continue but literally could not. This had never happened before with previous extractions. Whatever chemical or constituent was being retained in the Naptha is not easily washed away with the normal recommended amount of ammonia after that many extractions.

To anyone who is interested in regularly performing this experiment, be careful with how many times you recycle Naptha and pay close attention to the coloration of the end product. Perhaps using a much larger wash of ammonia would solve this problem. I’m not sure and haven't time to experiment (this experience compelled me to write this report directly afterwords). All I can say for now is be careful and safe journeys!
