Two days ago, I went to a rave to celebrate my 19th birthday, which was actually three days earlier. I bought two pills of E from my friend, who assured me that it was really strong shit. This was my first time taking two pills instead of one. I found out later that I should've waited before taking the second one, but in the end, it didn't really matter. Anyway, this was my third rave and my fourth time rolling.(my first time was alone with my best friend) I was with four friends, two of whom had also dropped. Of the remaining two, one couldn't drop because he was taking anti-depressants and the other had never tried it before and was afraid to do so.

I should probably give you some background information about me. I am a recent High School graduate. I was never lucky with girls throughout High School. I had never even been kissed. After a while I had simply learned to accept rejection and let fate work itself out.

About an hour after taking the pills, as I waited for the E to kick in, I suddenly felt naseaus. It was probably the birthday cake I ate before going. I went to the bathroom and threw up. Normally, I hate throwing up, but this time, it didn't bother me much, and I felt a lot better afterwards. Luckily, I didn't see any pills in the toilet. After drinking some water I felt just fine. About 10 minutes later, I peaked.

After peaking, I went over to this group of people.(all of them rolling) This guy offered me a backrub and I accepted. After that, I noticed this girl in the group and offered her a backrub, which she accepted. It was intense bonding experience to see her melt under the movement of my hands. After the experience, I asked her if I could have a kiss, which she agreed to. I'll never forget how her lips felt against mine. It was only for a brief moment, but it was so magical. I started a conversation with her, during which I found out that like me, she like techno when she's rolling, but listens to rock when she's sober. Best of all, we both have the same favorite band. I know it sounds trivial, but to me, it was like an omen.(as a guitarist and singer/songwriter, I take music very seriously)

I felt intensely connected to that whole group, but especially that girl. We brushed lips about 5 more times that night. When we went on the dance floor, I gave her a backrub as she was dancing. She had to leave a little early, but fortunately I managed to get her number as she was leaving.

I came down shortly before the rave ended, but I didn't even care. I had made a great connection with a beautiful girl. I had had my first kiss. I had made some new friends as well. That was the greatest night of my life.
